This is a pretty rudimentary feature to have in a high end video editing application. This feature saves a ton of time in Adobe After Effects. A keyboard shortcut to jump between timelines would be much more ideal from an editing task managment POV. I tried dropping all of the takes for a scene into the film edit/timeline but it has proven to be too slow and difficult to scroll back and forth constantly resizing the timeline to move clips around in the same linear space. All of my dailies are synced in timelines per day of shooting. OUCH! You have to buy a control panel? I'm currently editing a feature in DR and it would be really nice to have this as a keyboard shortcut that could be created.
